The Commanders announced that Pro Bowl defensive tackle Jonathan Allen has suffered a significant torn biceps, and it will likely require season-ending injury.

According to NFL insider Tom Pelissero, “#Commanders standout DT Jonathan Allen is feared to have suffered a significant pectoral injury that will require season-ending surgery, per sources. Allen is getting a second opinion. It would be a huge loss for Washington, which sits atop the NFC East at 4-2.”
Allen suffered a significant pectoral injury, which requires surgery. Though his being out for 2024 has not been confirmed, Allen is set to get a second opinion to determine how severe the damage is.
