BRKZ secures $31m to scale AI-enabled building materials procurement

BRKZ is a technology-enabled building materials procurement platform in Saudi Arabia. It has announced $31 million in new capital to fuel its next phase of growth. That includes advancing its AI-powered pricing and fulfillment engine. It also includes rolling out embedded financing solutions for its network of contractors and suppliers.

The funding includes $13 million in Series B equity. Wa’ed Ventures, a venture capital arm of Aramco, co-led it with 500 Global. BECO Capital and Anb Seed Fund participated. Alongside the equity round, existing financing partner Stride Ventures has committed $18 million in growth debt. That debt sits under BRKZ’s previously announced $30 million venture debt facility. It supports working capital and flexible payment terms for customers.

Growth

The round comes as BRKZ records strong growth. Revenue is on track to triple in 2026, following 2.5x year-on-year growth in 2025. The company continued to expand amid significant geopolitical and supply-chain disruption across the Middle East. Its growth reflects the need for digitized procurement, pricing transparency, and reliable fulfillment across the construction material supply chain.

BRKZ now serves more than 1,500 contracting companies and 150 building materials factories. Approximately 2,100 local and international suppliers support them. Since inception, the company has sold more than $133 million (SAR 500 million) in raw, local, and imported building materials. It has processed more than $1.37 billion (SAR 5.13 billion) in RFQs through its platform.

How the platform works

Building materials account for a significant share of construction project costs. Yet procurement remains highly fragmented. It relies on manual sourcing, negotiations and disconnected logistics processes. BRKZ provides contractors, distributors and factories with a single platform to source local, imported and raw materials. It combines its Saudi supplier network with international sourcing capabilities. It manages pricing, quality assurance, logistics and flexible commercial terms through a single procurement relationship.

What the founder said

“The past twelve months have reinforced why we built BRKZ,” said Ibrahim Manna, Founder and CEO of BRKZ. “Even amid significant regional and supply-chain disruptions, we achieved record growth because contractors and factories still need reliable access to materials, competitive pricing and dependable fulfillment. Having spent our first years building the supply network, infrastructure and data to digitize procurement at scale, we can now make that infrastructure significantly smarter and, with this funding, extend our reach across Saudi Arabia and the region.”

What the investors said

“Our continued investment in BRKZ reflects our confidence in the company’s ability to make building materials procurement more efficient, connected and data driven. We look forward to supporting the team as they further advance their AI capabilities and scale their impact across Saudi Arabia and the wider region,” said Anas Alghatani, CEO, Wa’ed Ventures.

“Building materials procurement is one of the largest, least digitized categories in the Saudi economy, and BRKZ has methodically built the infrastructure and data needed to solve it at scale,” said Amjad Ahmad, Managing Partner at 500 Global. “Our decision to co-lead this round was driven by the team’s demonstrated execution: BRKZ sustained growth despite significant regional supply-chain disruption because contractors rely on the platform to deliver. This speaks to the strong operational foundation. We look forward to supporting the team as they deepen their AI capabilities, expand embedded financing, and grow across the region.”

Commenting on the investment, Khalid S. Alghamdi, CEO of Anb Capital, said: “Saudi Arabia is building at extraordinary scale, and BRKZ is transforming how one of the Kingdom’s largest industries operates. By combining proprietary data, AI and embedded financing, the company is addressing a real and significant challenge in the construction supply chain. With more than SAR 5 billion of RFQs already processed, BRKZ has demonstrated both execution and scale. At anb capital, we see the potential for BRKZ to become an important technology-enabled infrastructure platform for the Kingdom and, over time, the wider region.”

The data behind the pricing engine

BRKZ has spent the past three years building a proprietary building materials dataset. It holds approximately 38 million structured data points across 13,000+ product records and 2,100+ supplier profiles. This data now supports an AI pricing engine trained on approximately 40,000 RFQs.

The engine predicts buy and sell prices and recommends relevant suppliers for each order. 84% to 89% of predictions fall within 5% of the final transacted price. That reduces a traditionally manual pricing process to a near-instant workflow, while procurement teams retain final oversight.

AI agents also run parts of BRKZ’s day-to-day operations. Nusa, the company’s delivery agent, autonomously processes bulk-cement deliveries. It reads delivery-note photos sent by transporters over WhatsApp, matches them to orders, verifies quantities and closes completed deliveries. Staff step in on exceptions.

The platform now handles approximately three-quarters of delivery notes without manual override. AI also assists payment-term decisions, drawing on BRKZ’s proprietary payment-behaviour history. Final approval remains with the company’s finance team.

What the new capital will be used for

BRKZ will use the new capital to:

  • Advance BRKZ’s AI capabilities across quotation, pricing and fulfilment, automating more of the procurement journey
  • Deepen vertical integration across the supply chain, from raw materials sourcing to last-mile delivery
  • Scale cross-border sourcing and trading, expanding direct supply corridors with China, India and other major manufacturing markets, including specialty and private-label building material products, to improve material availability, pricing and sourcing flexibility

Backing and projects

Earlier in 2026, BRKZ also received a strategic investment from SIC, the investment arm of the Saudi Industrial Development Fund (SIDF). SIC pointed to BRKZ’s vision to digitize procurement, strengthen local supply chains and contribute to the Kingdom’s Vision 2030 industrial objectives.

BRKZ supplies contractors and businesses participating in major developments. They include The Red Sea Project, Diriyah, Qiddiya, ROSHN and King Salman Park. As the company enters its next phase of growth, BRKZ remains open to additional strategic investors joining the Series B.

BRKZ has now raised more than $70 million in total capital since inception across equity and debt.
