Cowboys Confusingly Not Placing Dak Prescott on IR

The Dallas Cowboys are not placing quarterback Dak Prescott on injured reserve, despite previous public comments that the team intended to do so.
If the Cowboys place Prescott on injured reserve next week, the earliest he could return would be Dec. 15. However, the sudden change also leaves open the possibility of Prescott returning in less than four games.
