Kathie Lee Gifford Cooks Her Mutiny-Causing Stuffing in Gigantic Bowl: ‘It Just Wouldn’t Be the Holidays Without It’

Kathie Lee Gifford is cooking up a family favorite.

The TV personality, 72, jumped on Instagram ahead of Christmas to share that she was back in the kitchen serving up one of her mother’s recipes. 

“I thought my cooking days were over for a while since Thanksgiving but apparently a lot of people said, ‘Well, what about more stuffing? I never got more stuffing,’” Gifford says as she’s seen mixing around ingredients in a huge wooden mixing bowl. 

“So, here I am making more of my mom’s favorite sage and sausage stuffing,” she says, referencing the dish that is seemingly a mainstay in her household, later adding: “Everybody loves it.”

“It just wouldn’t be the holidays without it! 🎄✨ Merry Christmas, everybody!,” she added in her caption.

Before the video comes to a close, Gifford signs off with “Gosh, I’m a wonderful person” as the person behind the camera lets out a laugh. 

This is not the first time Gifford has talked about the popular dish. Just last month while preparing for Thanksgiving dinner, the former Today show co-host appeared behind what seemed to be the same massive bowl. 

“When I don’t make this, there’s a mutiny in my family,” she said in the video shared to Instagram.

Gifford’s family continues to grow as her son Cody Gifford recently welcomed his third child with wife Erika and her daughter Cassidy Gifford has two children herself. 

“Babies are the last great miracle left in life. They never cease to amaze you, astound you and delight you,” said Gifford after her daughter welcomed daughter Rosie in June. “I am so in love already with this precious little girl!”

“I can’t even believe I am saying the word ‘girl’ ’cause I got so used to ‘boys,’ and I love our boys, but this girl is gonna rule the roost. She is going to rule the whole world,” she continued, referencing her other grandchildren. “She is drop-dead beautiful like her mommy and as sweet as can be.”
