This was a big year for our backstage photographers Acielle Tanbetova, Hunter Abrams, and Huy Luong. Not only did they travel far beyond the big-four fashion week cities, they got to photograph some instantly iconic moments, Runway’s Miranda Priestly posing with Vogue’s Anna Wintour backstage at Dolce & Gabbana’s spring 2026 ready-to-wear show included! For every viral moment, there was also a tearful one. Giorgio Armani’s final collection for his namesake label, just weeks after his death, was a bittersweet occasion for everyone involved.
